Why oh why do people rely on technology, you update something your PC crashes, you lose conversations, you lose pictures. And i get so frustrated. its not so easy when you get to my age arrgh! Well sorted it all out now, mainly on my own so maybe i've learnt something i hope xx

Hi Just thought i'd begin a journal, i have only just began to submit stuff to DA, but have been looking at the site for some time. Just bought a new camera to play with as i needed something to do now my son is nearly an adult and i have finished my degree. So a return to a hobby of my youth before marriage, houses, a child, being a single parent took its toll. So I bought a Nikon D60 and will be enrolling on a couple of photography courses this friday. As i need a new exciting and creative outlet. I would like to take some emotive/ abstract portraits, as well as atmospheric landscapes. Not short of ideas but struggling to achieve them,
